PSAT

Test Date: The PSAT will be administered Wednesday, October 16, 2019 @ 7:15 a.m. to all first time sophomore students at Duluth HS. Freshmen and juniors may test by registering through My Payments Plus (there is a $15.00 fee). This test is excellent preparation for the SAT. Eleventh grade students must take the PSAT during their junior year in order to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
 

When? Wednesday, October 16, 2019

  • Duluth High School will administer the PSAT to all first time 10th graders (and to any freshmen and juniors who registered for the test).
  • All 9th graders (excluding those taking the PSAT) will take a Practice Gateway test.
 

Where am I testing? Check the rosters posted around the school to find your testing location or ask any teacher to assist you. If you are not testing, please check the classroom displacement lists posted next to the testing rosters.

Important Information:

  • Testing will begin promptly @ 7:15 AM. Please make sure you arrive to the testing rooms on time. Late students cannot be admitted to the PSAT testing rooms and there is no makeup PSAT administration. In an effort to minimize distractions during testing, there will be no check outs during the testing block.
  • Bring a No. 2 Pencil & a blue or black pen with you.
  • PSAT testers may bring a scientific or graphing calculator to the testing room.

Preparation for the test: Get to know more about the PSAT by practicing with sample questions and practice tests @ https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/practice.  Study guide booklets are also available for students who register to take the test.

 

Test time: PSAT Testing will begin promptly at 7:15 a.m. Students can expect the test session to run up through 4th period.
