Dual Enrollment

The Dual Enrollment (DE) program allows a current high school student to earn college credit while still in high school. The program is relatively free and provides the opportunity for current high school students to start college early while completing their high school requirements. Required Documents for DE Enrollment:
 
1) Duluth High School Dual Enrollment Checklist/Contract - submit the signed contract to your assigned dual enrollment adviser.
2.) Participation Agreement - fill out with your parents FIRST. Then, your dual enrollment adviser will add the appropriate classes and sign. Finally, the student will submit to the college in order to register for classes.

Gwinnett Technical College/DHS Dual Enrollment Program

DHS students have an exciting opportunity to take classes at Duluth High School, taught by Duluth High School teachers who are also Gwinnett Technical College faculty.  The Dual Enrollment program is an opportunity for qualified high school students to earn college credits.  The student is “jointly” enrolled in high school and in college.  No transportation is required since Gwinnett Technical College classes are taught on the Duluth High School campus.  The classes currently offered are U.S. History and health care sciences.  Participation is based on GPA, test scores, and class selection if eligible you will receive a notice.  For those that received a notice please follow the procedures and comply with the deadlines/timeline below.
