The Duluth High School credit recovery program is an opportunity for a student to earn course credit in a class they previously failed with a grade between 60-69. Eligibility:
To qualify for enrollment in a credit recovery class, a student must have previously taken the same standard, traditional course and earned a final grade within the range of 60 – 69.Cost:
The cost for EACH course is $40.00. Payment may be submitted through “My Payments Plus” www.mypaymentsplus.com
The course fee is located under “Duluth High Community School” on the mypaymentsplus page. Payments can also be made by cash or check through the Duluth Community School Office, located next to the Main Office in the 600 building. *This fee is non refundable*Grading:
In order to receive credit, students must pass the cumulative Final Exam with a 70% or higher. Students that earn a passing grade in credit recovery will have an additional grade issued for the course on their transcript. No grade will be issued for students who score lower than 70% as their final credit recovery grade.
NOTE: The NCAA does not accept Credit Recovery Program course credits for its potential student-athletes.How to Register
1. Print and complete the Course Registration form for the course you need. Make sure that both the student and their parent/guardian sign the form.
2. Pay the $40 course fee on mypaymentsplus.com. If unable to access mypaymentsplus, payments may be made by cash or check to the Community School Office.
3. Return the registration form & a copy of your mypaymentsplus receipt/cash or check to the Duluth Community School Office, located next to the Main Office in the 600 building.
