The Duluth High School credit recovery program is an opportunity for a student to earn course credit in a class they previously failed with a grade between 60-69. Eligibility:
To qualify for enrollment in a credit recovery class, a student must have previously taken the same standard, traditional course and earned a final grade within the range of 60 – 69.Grading:
Students must attend ALL class sessions to receive course credit. Failure to attend all classes will result in NO CREDIT EARNED.
Students are expected to:
1. Attend ALL sessions for the ENTIRE period – arrive ON TIME. (No excused absences.)
2. Complete all remediation/review work.
3. Follow all rules set forth by the teacher and Duluth High School.
4. Complete the Final Exam.
Grading In order to receive credit, students must pass the cumulative Final Exam with a 70% or higher. The grade the student earns on the Final Exam will be the grade the student receives for the course. Students that pass and receive credit will have an additional grade issued for the course on their transcript. No grade is issued for students who score lower than 70% as their final credit recovery grade.NOTE
: The NCAA does not accept Credit Recovery Program course credits for its potential student-athletes.How to Register
