COUNSELING  (Phone: 770 232-3322)

The primary goal of the DHS counseling department is to remove barriers to students’ academic success. Counselors conduct student and parent conferences; provide group and individual counseling regarding personal and academic issues; assist with career decision making, college selection and applications; and provide scholarship and financial aid information for postsecondary education and training. Counselors work with the total school team to ensure school success.
