your Duluth High Parent Teacher Association (PTSA) hosted a "Meet & Eat" event for the school’s newly appointed principal, Mr. Anthony Smith, on January 24th.
Over 26 Duluth businesses came together to help sponsor the event to give the principal and his family a "Duluth kind of welcome". Parents, local community leaders and school administration were among the guests. Georgia House Rep. Brooks Coleman also made a special appearance. Principal Smith took the opportunity to personally meet those that attended and later spoke to the group about our school’s campus safety measures. Improvements in outdoor lighting around the campus and encouragement of parent sign-up for the emergency alert system texts were two features of his presentation.
The "more infomation" link below contains a list of sponsors from the Duluth community. Please make every opportunity to support these businesses that care about Duluth High.
